Bruce Kaster

Few, if any, lawyers have filed more tire defect, tread separation and automotive product liability lawsuits than Bruce Kaster, who The Detroit News and the Detroit Free Press describe as “one of the foremost authorities on tires and why they fail.” His pioneering work in the Firestone ATX defect litigation and scores of other tire failure cases has set the bar for attorneys nationwide. He has won substantial verdicts and settlements for clients and is widely recognized as one of the leading authorities on the causes and effects of tire failure.

Bruce has provided expert commentary regarding defective tire products for NBC, ABC, CBS and CNN and has been featured in Esquire magazine, as well as The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, The Washington Post, The Miami Herald, The Cleveland Plain Dealer, the Detroit Free Press, USA Today, and numerous others. He has served as technical advisor to state attorneys general in nationwide litigation against Firestone related to tread defects in Firestone ATX tires responsible for rollover crashes resulting in serious injuries and deaths. He has lectured to law enforcement, legal and civic groups and has appeared before Congress in efforts to protect the public from the dangerous consequences of tire tread failure.

A former paratrooper and Vietnam veteran, Bruce is a tenacious litigator with the knowledge, dedication and drive that defective tire cases demand.
